SD-Link TY9X
Intermediate connector between TC90 and Sub-D – without additional cabling or mechanical work. Standby/active frequencies are transmitted directly from the navigation app via BLE. Dual-source: EFIS remains usable in parallel.

Yes. The adapters TY9X, Universal (SD) and TY96/97 DS support the simultaneous operation of EFIS and navigation app.
No. For TY96/TY97, either the SD-Link TY96/97 DS (Screw-and-play) or a fixed installation with Universal (SD) and possibly PigTail are required for operation.

The SD-Link TY96/97 will be on Mounting tray The radio is screwed in place ("screw-and-play"). The tray is part of the standard TY96/TY97 installation – the adapter requires it.
TY91/TY92, on the other hand, are connected to the TC90 control unit; the tray plays no role there.
The plug-and-play adapters are simply inserted, not permanently installed – no modifications to the aircraft's wiring are required, and they can be removed at any time without leaving any residue. This is straightforward for ultralight and experimental aircraft.
