The frequency transmission of SkyDemon The radio worked perfectly for a long time – and suddenly nothing happens anymore? In the vast majority of cases, this is not a hardware defect: The cause almost always lies in the app's setup. This checklist will restore the connection step by step.

The most common reason first
The SD-Link The adapter is a Bluetooth Low Energy device and belongs to exclusively in SkyDemon Set up – not via the Bluetooth settings of your tablet or smartphone (iPad, iPhone, or Android device). If it was also paired via the system's Bluetooth settings, this blocks the connection to the app. This is by far the most common reason why a previously working connection suddenly stops.
The adapter may only be used in SkyDemon It should be set up. It's best to completely remove any additional pairing in the system settings.

Six steps back to the transfer
Go through the points one by one – experience shows that the frequency transmission will then be restored.
- Adapter in SkyDemon remove Delete the existing adapter configuration in SkyDemon completely, so you can start fresh with a clean slate.
- Check system Bluetooth Open your device's Bluetooth settings (iPad/iPhone: Settings › Bluetooth; Android: Settings › Connected devicesIf the adapter appears there as a paired device, remove it completely – it does not belong in the system settings.
- Starting from scratch Restart your tablet or smartphone and briefly disconnect the adapter or radio from power. A cold start reliably resolves any stuck connection issues.
- Only in SkyDemon setting up a new place Now, point the adapter directly into SkyDemon one – not via the device's Bluetooth settings.
- Select the correct protocol Check in SkyDemon, whether the appropriate radio device/protocol is selected – for example Funke ATR833 in the ATR833-Adapter. An incorrect protocol is a common, easily overlooked cause.
- Test in flight or simulation mode Activate a route and start "Go Flying" or simulation mode. Without active flight/sim mode, data will not be transmitted. SkyDemon Depending on the situation, nothing happens – then it falsely appears to be a defect.
These steps apply exactly the same to Android devices. Additionally, check whether the app has the necessary permissions – especially… Location or "Devices nearby" (Nearby Devices) – otherwise it cannot find the Bluetooth Low Energy adapter.
