Ideal for existing EFIS installations

Many aircraft already use a fixed data connection between EFIS (e.g. DynonGarmin G3X, Nesis) and radio — additional Bluetooth integration often fails here. With Dual Source You disconnect the existing cable, plug in the adapter — done. That's how you use it. SkyDemon in addition to the existing system.

Do you also need one? PigTail?

That depends entirely on your connection — if you have your own wiring harness with open ends, you don't need one. Otherwise:

f.u.n.k.e ATR833 (PnP): directly compatible with the remote connectors of the f.u.n.k.e Wiring harnesses BSKS833S(-S), BSKS833D(-S), BSKS833OE(-S), BSKS833GLS(-S) and BSKS833GLD(-S). For wiring harnesses with Binder connectors, you need the PigTail PT-GENERIC-BSK833-1.
