I have today the KRT2 Adapter installed. The adapter is very small, the housing seems very sturdy, and the retaining clips on the connector hold well. The entire installation only takes a few minutes and it works perfectly. SkyDemon Simply select the radio under "Third-party devices", save it, and then you can use the function 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have the KRT2 Adapter installed. The adapter fits our C42 very well; the mounting clips hold well, but I secured them with cable ties anyway. The connection to SkyDemon and Sky-Map Works perfectly.

After a bit of initial confusion, I got it working – and it works brilliantly! Although the manual doesn't mention it, SkyDemon correctly recognized the KRT2 radio. The key was selecting the KRT2 protocol manually in a second dropdown panel, which wasn't immediately visible and was still set to another radio type.
I had assumed the protocol would switch automatically, but if I had taken the time to check the whole page, I would've spotted it sooner. Once set correctly, the adapter performs flawlessly. Highly recommended!

During a turbulent flight, I accidentally switched off the radio while trying to change frequency at the point of a clearance delivery. With SD-Link, frequency changes can be sent directly from the navigation app to the radio, which makes cockpit handling much easier and helps avoid this kind of mistake. A very useful little device.
