TQ KRT2 Bluetooth adapter for SkyDemon, Sky-Map and other navigation apps — SD-KRT2-E.
With the SD-KRT2-E, you can send standby and active frequencies from your navigation app to your TQ KRT2 with a single tap — no more fiddling with knobs, no more typos on approach. The station name also appears on the KRT2's display in SkyDemon and Sky-Map.
The adapter arrives fully assembled and is simply inserted between the radio and the existing connector. No soldering, no tools, no modifications to the vehicle's wiring – and it can be removed at any time without leaving any residue.
Is your KRT2 already connected to an EFIS (e.g., Garmin G3X, Dynon, Nesis)? Then choose the SD-KRT2-DS : It maintains the connection to the EFIS and integrates your navigation app without any rewiring. If you don't have an EFIS, the SD-KRT2-E is the right choice.

I installed the KRT2 adapter today. The adapter is very small, the housing seems very sturdy, and the mounting clips on the connector hold well. The entire installation only takes a few minutes and it works flawlessly. In SkyDemon, all you have to do is select the radio under "Third-Party Devices," save it, and you're ready to use the function.

After a bit of initial confusion, I got it working – and it works brilliantly! Although the manual doesn't mention it, SkyDemon correctly recognized the KRT2 radio. The key was selecting the KRT2 protocol manually in a second dropdown panel, which wasn't immediately visible and was still set to another radio type.
I had assumed the protocol would switch automatically, but if I had taken the time to check the whole page, I would've spotted it sooner. Once set correctly, the adapter performs flawlessly. Highly recommended!
