f.u.n.k.e ATR833 Bluetooth adapter (dual source) for SkyDemon, Sky-Map and other navigation apps — SD-ATR833-DS.
Control your radio via the app — without additional wiring, now also with an existing EFIS installation. The SD-ATR833-DS is a Plug-and-play adapter for f.u.n.k.e ATR833 VHF transceiver. It's simply plugged in between the radio and the Sub-D connector—no soldering, screws, or configuration required. You can set the standby or active frequency directly from the transmitter. SkyDemon, Sky-Map, VFRnav or XCSoar via Bluetooth. The adapter is 5 mm shorter than the standard version and fits into a C42.
Dual Source — compatible with existing EFIS
Many modern aircraft use an existing data link between EFIS (e.g. Dynon SkyView, Nesis) and radio device — classic Bluetooth solutions reach their limits here. With the Dual-source technology Simply disconnect the existing data line, plug in the adapter — done. Your EFIS connection remains intact, and you gain the SkyDemon-Integration included.

- Compatibility: developed for f.u.n.k.e ATR833. Compatible with ATR833-S, ATR833-A and ATR833-II-OLED, compatible with Android and iOS. Usable only with radios running software version SW 5.8 or higher — older versions (SW 5.7 and lower) are not supported. You can check if your device has SW 5.8 by looking at the serial number: the first supported unit has serial number 40131610 (production year 2010). Tip: The last two digits of the serial number indicate the production year — devices with lower numbers may require a software update from the manufacturer.
- Simple installation: Tool-free adapter plug; secure hold thanks to the Molex latch system.
- Power supply: Directly connected to the avionics bus (12–28 V), no additional power supply required. An integrated fuse protects against malfunctions—the radio remains operational.
- Connection: RS-232 (V.24 level), dual-source capable.
- Bluetooth: Low Energy (BLE), for Android and iOS.
- Compact design: Dimensions 59 × 45 × 16,5 mm, Weight 50 gr.
