Which apps and radios work with SD-Link?
SD-Link connects your radio to your navigation app via Bluetooth Low Energy. Here you can see at a glance which apps are supported and for which radios there is a suitable plug-and-play solution.
Navigation apps
Overview of supported apps
Whether frequency transmission is available depends on the app, operating system, and radio protocol. The following overview shows the current status. The step-by-step process of sending frequencies from SkyDemon to the radio is explained below.
Currently only supported for ATR833 and KRT2.
Support in development.
Not compatible: ForeFlight does not allow third-party Bluetooth LE devices (statement from ForeFlight Support, 09/2025). Our adapters use an open Bluetooth standard; the decision rests with ForeFlight.
Not yet compatible: SDVFR does not have a Bluetooth connection to the radio. We have offered our support to the developer.
Not compatible: Garmin does not open the interface for devices from other providers.
Radios
Radios with a suitable SD-Link adapter
There is a suitable SD-Link solution for these radios. Tip for choosing the right one: The adapter finder guides you to the correct variant in three steps; the adapter comparison explains the differences between standard, dual-source, angled, and pigtail adapters.
Plug-and-play connection between radio and wiring harness. A pigtail connector for the Binder socket is also available.
Connection via Dual Source – synchronous with connected EFIS.
Three variants – also angled for tight installations behind the radio.
Plug-and-play for AR6203, AR6211 and RT6201. AR6201 from serial number 3001 (NG) onwards — older AR6201 models are not supported.
Bluetooth connectivity to SkyDemon and compatible navigation apps.
Bluetooth adapter for the Dynon SV-COM radio.
For special setups – connects additional radio devices via the serial RS-232 interface.

Tested – Plug & Play Experimental prototype for uAvionix AV-30. Sends navigation data from SkyDemon to the AV-30's GPS input on port 1 (Serial 1). Important: Serial1 on the AV-30 must be set to NMEA 9600. Plug-and-play adapter; no additional power supply required (operates with 12V and 24V onboard voltage). An existing AV-Link module remains functional. | SD-Link AV-30 |
