Note: The Becker AR6201 is supported from serial number 3001 (NG version) onwards — older AR6201 models are not. The AR6211 (successor to the AR6201) is supported without serial number restrictions.

9600 baud, 8N1. The TQ documentation mentions 115200 elsewhere – this is incorrect for operation with SD-Link and is the most common reason why a connection cannot be established initially.
Set the serial interface of the KRT2 to 9600 baud, then the adapter will connect reliably.
The plug-and-play adapters are simply inserted, not permanently installed – no modifications to the aircraft's wiring are required, and they can be removed at any time without leaving any residue. This is straightforward for ultralight and experimental aircraft.
